Mitchel Sayare, Ph.D., age 60, has been a director of ImmunoGen since 1986 and has been Chairman of the Board since 1989. Dr. Sayare served as Chief Executive Officer from 1986 to Dec. 31, 2008; he also served as President from 1986 to 1992 and from 1994 to July 2008. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, he served as Vice President of Development of Xenogen from 1982 to 1985. Prior to this he was Assistant Professor of Biophysics and Biochemistry at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Sayare holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Sayare is also a director of ImmuCell Corporation, in addition to a number of private companies.
