Dr. Hari Sundram has been involved for greater than 15 years in healthcare devices and services industry in various fields ranging from pain management to vascular disease. He currently has five awarded patents and multiple pending patents, all of which have been licensed to startups or major corporations in the device industry.

Dr. Sundram is currently the CEO and President of H2Novations, a venture initiator working with some of the leading names in venture capital including Highland Capital and Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers to build the next generation of healthcare startups. Dr. Sundram is a founder of Auris Surgical Robotics (microsurgical robot for retinal surgery), Reprise Orthopedics (hip arthroscopy products), Audax (biologic sealants for vertebroplasty), and GroupMed (a collective buying platform for health insurance benefits). He has also served as an EIR at Highland Capital and is an advisor to multiple venture-funded healthcare device and IT companies. He previously served as Vice President and Medical Director at Medical Capital Group, a healthcare focused merchant bank.

Dr. Sundram completed his anesthesiology residency at U Penn in 2006 and finished a fellowship in pain medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital this year. He has published more than 10 papers in both basic science and clinical medicine.
